Driven by a simple, yet profound ,desire to see people find and serve a loving God, the words of this poet have blessed people in many ways. A mother, a wife, a worker, and someone who felt deeply and keenly the spiritual world swirling around her.

Velma's Books & Writings

Velma fulfilled her dreams in the 1980's and 1990's as she published three collections of her poems of memory and faith. One was "Heart Talks", "Sunshine and Shadows", and "Valley of Flowers."
She had worked on many new poems that were bound into a manuscript called, "Silver Linings", but died before they were published. Some of her poems were turned into songs with the assistance of her son, Lou Priest.
